We Had Fun Activities

The Australian Pavilion will be situated in the Chiang Mai International Exhibition and Convention Center, (it is on Canal Road, with lots of parking). The world fair area is in the Main Hall, Convention 1 – here is the country booth layout

The following is an overview of the activity taking place in the Pavilion.

10 am   Set up & Open

Welcome Visitors & engagement through exploring our displays, find out about Australia and experience a good time with:

  • Education agents and Alumni – Study in Australia
  • Australian booth hosts – engage and share information
  • Blackmores exhibit – see their products
  • Rimping (Taste Australia) exhibit – see products
  • Baht Smart (25 to 28 June only) & Elephant Parade exhibit – check these out
  • Tourism display, video, 3D & information – find out more about Australia
  • Selfie picture corner & props – lucky draw – have fun with pictures
  • Fun activities – see times below

11:00 – 12:00          Australia in 3D – 360 degree Goggles

  • check out scenes of Australia with interactive goggles

12:30 – 18:30           Face Painting & Kids fun (Fri, Sat, & Sun only)

  • Have iconic Aussie symbols painted on your face or arms
  • Koala mascot – a surprise visit times (weekends)?
  • Kids coloring – Kangaroo & Koala – take home or do it at the booth?

12:00 – 13:00             Food sampling & engage visitors

  • Fri, Sat & Sun only – Lamington & Anzac Biscuit tasting – Learn their history
  • Weekday – vegemite squares  – what is this stuff?

13:00 – 14:00           Lucky Wheel & Games Prizes

  • Engage visitors & enjoy a game for a prize
  • selfies with props/lucky draw

14:00 – 15:00           Food Sample

15:00 – 16:00           Lucky Wheel Prizes –
